Hey guys! So while I was updating my Goodreads account, someone mentioned there was a Netgalley Reading Challenge happening. I thought it was something officially from Netgalley but it’s more of a community challenge and I thought I would 1) share the info and 2) participate!
The challenge runs the whole year (Jan to December 2018) and anyone is welcome to participate. The only “requirement” is that you link your reviews (wherever it is you post reviews, be it a blog, GRs, other) to the appropriate monthly master link post on the Bookish Things & More blog. If you ever forget to link up your post for the current month, then it’s fine to link them in the following month.
I’ve actually done a challenge where we had to link our reviews and I ALWAYS forgot to link them. So then I would have a cluster of links for the whole year in the later monthly posts (which is what might end up happening this time around too).
Also, this challenge does have a tag! #NGEW2018
Bronze – 10 Books | Silver – 25 Books | Gold – 50 Books
Platinum – 75 Books | Diamond – 100 Books
Since only Netgalley and Edelweiss books are valid for this challenge and my goal is to get my Netgalley pile down to ZERO, I’m going to go with Silver. Right now I have 20 books I need to read and review and I’ve been pretty consistent with my Netgalley ban so I don’t think I’ll be requesting more. Up above I posted my latest 10 requests to kind of give you all a sneak preview of the reviews that I’m hoping to post before the end of the year 😉
- [Review and Author Interview] The Dragon of Ynys by Minerva Cerridwen
- [Blog Tour] The Way You Make Me Feel by Maureen Goo
- [Netgalley] The Dam Keeper: The Film and Graphic Novels by Robert Kondo and Dice Tsutsumi
- [Netgalley] A Quick & Easy Guide to They/Them Pronouns by Archie Bongiovanni and Tristan Jimerson
Wish me luck! ^^
Like always, thanks for stopping by! And if you’re also doing this challenge, let me know how it’s going and good luck! I know I need a bunch of it because who reads books from their TBR piles like they’re supposed to?
